EV Charging Space Locations
Our charging locations are undergoing an update! They will soon only employ J1772 connectors. If you are not able to use that connector type, you will need to use an adapter to utilize our chargers.
Once a charging session is complete, the vehicle must be moved from the space. Vehicles occupying a space without an active charging session will be subject to citation. Idle fees will be assessed at the new stations after fifteen (15) minutes of charge completion.
To use the new chargers, please download the Autel Charge app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

By using the electric vehicle chargers at Florida Atlantic University, you agree to follow the university's parking rules and regulations here.
These spaces are enforced twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. They require a valid FAU e-Permit (faculty, staff, and students) or an active ParkMobile parking session (visitors). See how to obtain permits here.
Vehicle that do not follow the rules and regulations are subject to being fined and/or towed at the owner's expense. No back-in parking; vehicles must be parked nose in at all times. There must be a current active charging session to be parked in an electric vehicle charging space.
Please be courteous and park appropriately. Park in the space that the charger cords correspond to. Do not cross over parking spaces. Once your charge is complete, please place the cord back on its hook for the next driver.

Disabled Parking on Campus
A current, valid state-issued disabled placard must be displayed on any vehicle parked in a disabled parking space on the campus. Vehicles displaying disabled parking placards, whether permanent or temporary, must also have valid FAU ePermit at all times while parked on the campus.
Disabled parking spaces are located throughout the FAU campus; however, in the unlikely event that the vehicle operator is unable to find an available disabled parking space he or she may park in any parking space in any lot, (except in assigned spaces, service vehicle spaces, or in card access or controlled access lots) or may utilize any parking meter space for up to four (4) hours without charge.
Parking with another person's state-issued disabled placard is prohibited by Florida law. The placard may be confiscated, a parking and/or criminal citation issued and the vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense. The person to whom the placard is assigned to must be transported in the vehicle when parking. You are not permitted to drop someone off across campus and then park the vehicle. This may result in a parking citation and/or the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense.

If you should need a disabled parking permit please contact the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles at http://www.flhsmv.gov/dmv/disabled_pkg.html.
