Family Engagement Philosophy

The Office of Family Engagement defines the term “family” as anyone in a student’s life that impact their lives through trust, love, and support. Our philosophy allows us to follow the three relationship strengthening pillars: engagement, understanding students, and an identification of family opportunities. Engagement with our families is built on strong relationship building. Understanding our students comes from FAU campus research, personal relationships, and nationwide university data.
