New Student Orientation

Getting Ready for Your First Semester

Starting college comes with a lot of questions, and our new student orientation program, SOAR, is here to help. SOAR guides you through what you can expect at Florida Atlantic and helps you prepare for your first semester with confidence.

It All Starts with SOAR

SOAR is a guided experience that you complete through OwlDone. Once you log in, we’ll take you through the right steps in the right order. As part of SOAR, you can expect to:

  • Complete an online orientation experience
  • Attend a live orientation session (in person or virtual, depending on availability)
  • Connect with advisors and campus resources
  • Get ready for classes and your first semester
