Late Cancellation Fee
Beginning May 10, 2025, patients are asked to notify SHS at least 24 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule their appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $25.00 late cancellation fee.
Student Health Services Offers Telehealth Services
FAU SHS is excited to offer telehealth services also known as “virtual visits” to our eligible students. These virtual visits can be related to acute issues and follow-up of existing medical conditions. Please call FAU SHS at 561-297-3512 to learn more.
Nutrition Services at FAU Student Health Services
We are excited to offer nutrition services through Student Health Services at the Boca campus. Students can see a registered dietitian for individual consultations that address an array of nutrition topics, including balanced eating, disordered eating concerns, weight management, diabetes and pre-diabetes, sports nutrition, mindful/intuitive eating, food allergies and intolerances, vegan/vegetarian diet, and others. To schedule an appointment with the registered dietitian, call 561-297-3512. A number of insurances are accepted and self-pay options are available.
No-Show Fee
A no-show fee of $25 will be charged to patients who do not show up for their appointment and who have not called to cancel.

After-Hours Nurse Line
|
All FAU students have access to after-hours nurse advice and health information. Students can call the FAU SHS number to be connected to the after-hours nurse line. The FAU After-Hours Nurse Line is staffed by registered nurses who can assess a student's symptoms and help them determine how to get the most appropriate care. The nurse may recommend a variety of care options, including home treatment, follow-up with a physician or immediate visit to the closest Emergency Room or Urgent Care Clinic. |

Student Health Services has clinics located on three of FAU's campuses including Boca Raton, Davie, and Jupiter. The hours listed below are for fall and spring in-session operation. Hours and availability may differ during out of session operation and semester breaks.

During the summer semester, FAU Student Health Services will be closed on the following dates:
- May 6-17, 2026 (Boca Raton clinic only. Telehealth appointments available or in-person at Jupiter and Davie clinics)
- May 25, 2026 (Memorial Day)
- July 3, 2026 (Independence Day Observed)
