Tobacco Free Campus
Florida Atlantic University is a tobacco-free university! Beginning Jan. 1, 2015, FAU implemented a tobacco-free policy across all campuses. In an effort to create a healthier environment for all students, faculty, employees, vendors and visitors, the use of all tobacco products is prohibited. This policy is in effect for all indoor and outdoor spaces, including parking lots and cars. This policy covers all tobacco products, including:
- Cigarettes
- Cigars
- Pipes
- Smokeless tobacco
- Snuff
- Chewing tobacco
- Smokeless pouches
- e-cigarettes
- and any other form of loose-leaf, smokeless tobacco
