Upload Your Financial Aid Documents Securely with OWL Files

It is highly recommended that all required Financial Aid Documents ( not including proof of citizenship ) be uploaded securely using OwlFiles.

  • Students may electronically sign documents submitted using OwlFiles.  For documents submitted in person, or any documents including a parent’s signature, wet signatures are required.
  • Upload each document as a whole file, not as individual pages.
  • Emailed or faxed documents will NOT be accepted.
  • If requested, you must present ORIGINAL documents in person for other information, such as proof of citizenship. Copies or mailed citizenship documents will not be accepted.

NOTE:   Forms may also be submitted via mail or in-person drop off to the FAU Office of Student Financial Aid at any partner campus (Boca, Davie, Jupiter).

Florida State Programs - Academic Progress Appeal

Submit this form if you have become ineligible for Bright Futures, FSAG, or other state aid. Bright Futures Appeals can only be submitted due to a verifiable illness or other documented emergency. The medical or emergency circumstances that affected the semester/s in question must be documented. You should provide as much documentation as possible regarding the illness or emergency with your appeal form. Incomplete appeals lacking supporting documentation or a letter of explanation will be denied. Appeals submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Allow 10-15 business days for committee review.
