Catherine Briggs is driven by a desire to produce quality choral music and works to instill that love of music in her students. After graduating with her bachelor's degree, she went on to pursue a master's degree in Choral Conducting from Florida Atlantic University. In addition, she has completed further graduate study at Silver Lake College, where she received her Kodaly certification. Currently serving as the choral director at West Boca Raton Community High School, Professor Briggs enjoys both the joys and challenges of her profession. Professor Briggs is an active member of the National Association for Music Education, Florida Music Education Association, Florida Vocal Association, and the American Choral Directors Association.
