Madame Rosemary Rahill is a two-time Florida Atlantic University graduate, with a BA in French (2010), and an MAT in French (2012). Originally from New York, she attended New York University with a major in French and Journalism. In pursuit of her life-long goal to speak French like a native, she spent her junior year at New York University in Paris. That academic year turned into nine years in France, enabling her to achieve native-like proficiency in the language, as well as extensive knowledge of the culture. Sharing her passion for the language and cultures of the Francophone world has now become her mission: to encourage and inspire students of all levels in their study of the French language. She teaches all levels of the basic language program, and enjoys connecting with and engaging students in the realm of the online classroom, as well as the face-to-face classroom. She also teaches Advanced Grammar, Pronunciation and Phonetics, Culture and Society, and Conversation. Finally, she is also certified to deliver the internationally recognized Diplôme du Français Professionnel, issued by the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris; she also teaches Commercial French 1 and Advanced Commercial French here at Florida Atlantic University as part of this initiative.
