Dr. Roland Ofori is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy in the School of Public Administration at Florida Atlantic University. He is an interdisciplinary scholar with expertise in public policy, economics, political science, and computational social science. His research seeks to understand the complex relationship between humans and the environment and identify best solutions to wicked problems in natural resource management. Dr. Ofori’s research has addressed policy problems related to food waste, invasive species, sustainable fisheries, and energy subsidies.

Before joining FAU, Dr. Ofori was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an Assistant Economist at Ghana’s Ministry of Finance. He holds a Ph.D. from Michigan Technological University, an M.S. from Michigan State University, and a B.A. from the University of Ghana.
