Frédéric Conrod (CLL Committee)   Dr. Frédéric Conrod is Professor of Comparative Literature at Florida Atlantic University. His research focuses on transatlantic connections between French, Spanish, and Latin American literatures, withparticular attention to philosophy, mysticism, and cultural psychology. He has published extensively ontransatlantic narratives, exploring questions of identity, language, and cross-cultural exchange. His current projects bridge the humanities and environmental studies by examining how French and Spanish transatlantic literatures engage with the cultural imagination of the ocean.
