Whether your function is a continental breakfast or a gala dinner, FAU's Catering will provide the caliber of food and distinction of service appropriate for you and your guests. Our professional team uses the freshest ingredients, including locally grown and organic to make your meal a savory sensation. Personal attention from our experienced and highly trained staff ensures that we create a unique event that meets and exceeds your expectations.
Select from our catering planning guide or have the Master Chef create a custom menu for your special event. Catering will assist you with every detail of your event, collaborating with you to satisfy your specific needs, personal tastes and special details, such as special meals, flowers, table and chair rentals, and event logistics. If you have unique requests, simply notify us, and we will gladly accommodate you and your guests.
Our services cover three different levels that are guaranteed to fit within any budget!
In Style is our premium service which includes china, silverware and stemware with linen table cloths and napkins on buffet and guest tables. “In Style” also includes your choice of buffet or butler style plated service.
In Any Event is our enhanced catering service which includes plastic utensils, plates and cups, buffet linens and 3-ply napkins. This service includes full catering service with drop off, return visit and pick up service. This product does not include linens for your guest tables.
In Your Space is our no frills catering service and includes plastic utensils, plates, cups, and disposable serving trays. This is a pick-up service.

Breezeway Food Court Summer 2026 Announcement
This summer’s SOAR (Student Orientation, Academic, and Resources) experience, as well as various summer camps, will be utilizing the Breezeway Food Court to provide lunch to attendees. The service will be sectioned off and access granted only to those who have opted into dining as part of those programs.
While certain Food Court retail outlets and dining options will remain open throughout the summer, due to limited capacity Florida Atlantic faculty, staff and students are asked to consider other dining options on the following SOAR dates:

The University works with its many partners to provide a varied, healthy, affordable, ecologically sustainable and on trend dining experience for each student, faculty, staff member, and university guest. And, if you don't have time to sit down and eat, you can always get your meal to go!
FAU provides a multitude of dining locations to satisfy your varied tastes, including four Outtakes convenience stores that are strategically located throughout the Boca Raton campus to serve quick cuisine.
Atlantic Dining Hall
The Atlantic Dining Hall is Florida Atlantic University’s all-you-can-eat Dining Hall. A student favorite, the Atlantic Dining Hall is open to the entire FAU community and visitors. Our food philosophy is to “cook from scratch, menu responsibly and source sustainably”. In the dining hall, we use RGHb free milk and dairy, cage free eggs, hormone free poultry and source 80% of our vegetables and fruit within 100 miles of the campus. We also only use fair trade certified coffee and zero trans fat oils in our cooking. Students with dietary restrictions can also work with our team and chefs to ensure they get a balanced meal.

Steak n shake
Steak ‘n Shake was founded in February, 1934 in Normal, Illinois. Gus Belt, Steak ‘n Shake’s founder, pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milk shakes. For over 85 years, the company’s name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word “steak” stood for STEAKBURGER. The term “shake” stood for hand-dipped MILK SHAKES. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. To prove his point that his burgers were exceptionally prime, he would wheel in a barrel of steaks (including round, sirloin, and T-bones) and grind the meat into burgers right in front of the guests. Hence arose the origin of our famous slogan, “In Sight It Must Be Right.” After 85 years, we are continuing Steak n Shake’s tradition of serving the country’s best, freshest, and tastiest burgers and shakes.

Tacos AL carbon
Tacos Al Carbon began its journey December 5, 1998 in a small five by seven concession trailer. Our goal was to provide our customers with great authentic Mexican food at a great price. Taco by taco we worked hard to open our first restaurant at 4420 Lake Worth Road. With hard work and dedication, we have been able to open 6 locations, a bridal hall, a farm, and several other businesses.
