The Spring 2026 Senior Design Showcase will take place on Wednesday, April 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Student Union at Florida Atlantic University, with the awards ceremony immediately following.
This event highlights the innovative capstone projects developed by graduating seniors in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Students will present their ideas, prototypes, and technical solutions to faculty, industry partners, classmates, and community members.
Projects span a wide range of disciplines and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, autonomous systems, sustainable technologies, cybersecurity, robotics, and more.
The showcase celebrates the creativity, technical expertise, and real-world problem-solving skills our students have developed throughout their academic journey.

About the Showcase
Every year, during the fall and spring semesters, Florida Atlantic University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science hosts its Senior Design Showcase. During their senior year, students work together in teams to design and produce a final project that addresses a real-world problem.
Join us as we recognize and celebrate the next generation of innovators who push the envelope to tackle real-world problems with revolutionary ideas. Student-produced projects from the College of Engineering and Computer Science feature everything from robots to smart mobile device applications to new facility designs and more!
The showcase includes several projects in the areas of civil engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and ocean engineering.

Judge's Awards
During the Senior Design Showcase, the College of Engineering and Computer Science invites industry professionals from within each of the departments to tour the event. Judges have the opportunity to interact with each of the design teams to learn about their projects and contributions. At the end of the showcase, the industry professionals present their awards to the winning teams.
